Physical Distance Learning: Resources, Materials and Lesson Plans

To all the teachers, administrators, school staff, students and guardians who are embarking on another unprecedented school year; know that you have been doing such incredible and inspiring things all along. We see you, you got this!

When the initial wave of school closings began amid the ongoing pandemic, I started working on a page that will periodically be updated with a list of resources for making, viewing, presenting and responding to art remotely. One of the resources is a Google Document with my own personal lesson plans, materials and ideas that educators and parents/guardians can utilize with their students outside of traditional classroom settings.

This page is an extension of a recently published post called Art Education in an Age of Social Distancing, which includes examples of how art education can be effectively implemented while students and teachers are outside of their classrooms. I am interested in hearing your experiences as an educator or a learner (the two are interchangeable of course).
